I m a one person Sub S corp. I have retired andwill have no corporate income this year. Do I need to complete a form to let IRS know this?

Do I need to file a final tax return if my company is closed?

You are required to file a final return for the year you close your business. If you didn't check the Final Return box on your previous year form 1120-S, you should either file an amended return to indicate that, or file a zero information return for this year indicating that it is your last year in business.
