I live in TX, took care of my mom til she passed 12-2016. I inherited $ from her annuity/IRA. I have one w-2 with $1500.00 income. What forms do I need to file my taxes?

Sorry for your loss.

If you took money out of the inherited IRA, you will need to get Form 1099-R. If you didn't take any money out during 2016, you won't have anything to report.

You may be required to take a minimum distribution from the IRA by 12/31/2017. If you weren't planning on withdrawing money, contact the IRA custodian to discuss your options.
