I live in Ireland and took distribution from my pension. How do I show this in Turbotax? Also the tax paid?

My pension is an Irish one.

Please follow these steps to create a substitute 1099-R :

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account
  2. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”
  3. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
  1. Continue until the screen "Tell us if any of these uncommon situations apply" and check the box "I need to prepare a substitute 1099-R

For the Federal ID please try entering nine 9s.  If electronic errors occur due to 1099-R data entry, enter the pension under Miscellaneous income. Please follow these steps:

  1. Select "Federal"
  2. Scroll down to "Less Common Income"  and click "Start" next to  "Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
  3. Scroll down to "Other Reportable Income" and click "Start"
