I have an annuity. I did not make a withdrawal. Do I need to show my annuity?

No. You will not need to report the fact that you own an annuity on your income tax return.

(Unless a foreign annuity - then Form 8938 - Statement of Specified Foreign Financial Assets may need to be attached to your US income tax return (depending on your filing status)).
