I have a Roth IRA distribution and box 7 has a T. How do I prove how long I have had the IRA?

What will be asked of me with Turbo Tax. I can substantiate back to 2002.

Simply click the Continue button on the Your 1099-R Entries page and answer Yes when asked if you had a Roth Account prior to 2012.  No "proof" is required with your tax return.  The IRS has received Forms 5498 from your Roth IRA custodians over the years, so they already have the proof.
