I have a pension in the uk which I transfer monthly to a bank account in the US. Is that income and where do I report it?

I am Scottish. I am 71 and became a permanent resident of the USA  on 3/31/2016.  This is my first time filing taxes.  Need some help. Do I report income from outside of the US even though it has already been taxed by the UK government?

Yes.  The first step is to address FIN CEN 114.   IRS publication 525 provides some guide lines under Miscellaneous items.  These are easily available on line.....just Google them.  Comment back here if as you feel the need please!
