I have a 457B pre-tax account (traditional) and the contribution is reported on W2 under 12G. Can I claim the contribution as the deduction from my taxable income?

No.  It is pretax meaning before taxes.  It has already been deducted from the wages in box 1 on your W2 and you can’t deduct them again.

You only enter it from the W2, nowhere else.
