I have a 401k. Within the Deductions & Credit piece of the the form they ask about IRAs. Are they referring to my 401k or a separate individual contribution to an IRA?

I know I contribute to a Traditional IRA but it is through my 401k. I do not have a separate IRA I contribute to.

If you are contributing to the employer provided 401(k) retirement account then your contributions are already entered on your W-2 in box 12 with a code of D. Those contributions are not entered anywhere else on your tax return.

The program is asking about IRA contributions that you made and are totally separate from employer provided retirement accounts.
