I got a check dated 12/18/2018 from BP class action suit about stock price manipulation in my IRA Check was deposited back into the same IRA on 1/11/2019. Need to report?

No 1099 with the check.  Do I need to include in 2018 tax return or 2019 return or not at all?

If the check is deposited in your IRA, you do not need to report it on your tax return, not in 2018, not in 2019.

All earnings in the IRA are tax-deferred.
