I don't see that I've entered my spouse's SSA-1099 and it's not's not asking me to. Could I be doing a single return?

How do I find what status I'm filing?

Go back to My Info and edit your name.  Then a box pops up asking if you are married.  Then pick filing together.  Or are  you looking  for Social Security in the right spot?  Do you get SS too?  There should be 2 columns, one for you and one for spouse.

Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099 under

Federal Taxes (Personal for Home&Business)

Wages and Income

Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security

Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit button
