I don’t receive income as a distribution from retirement plan. Can I skip the Line 7 question of form 5329?

Your site requires me to enter Line 7 in the form 5329 to make a file for federal tax.

If you did not receive a 1099-R with a distribution from a pension plan you do not need to file form 5329.

On the left hand side when you are in your return

  • Click on Tools
  • Tax Tools
  • Delete a Form

Look in the list of forms to find form 5329 and delete the form
