I do not want to upgrade from the simple form yet turbotax keeps giving me a $40 tax credit for having a work retirement 401k. How do I remove this credit?

When I go back to the credit and deduction section it just says I'm getting this deduction, but there's no where for me to remove it, as the question assist tells me to do.

You can disqualify yourself from the saver credit if you tell the software you were a student.

Or—-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free.  There are 8  free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

Or—if you live in certain states you may be eligible to use the new IRS Direct File
