I direct rolled over 401k to traditional IRA. TT only asked if the desitination was Roth 401k or Roth IRA. It does not ask if I rolled over to IRA.

You are correct when it was not rolled over to a Roth 401K or a Roth IRA then this amount went to a Traditional account and is not taxable.
