I did a back door roth ira in Jan 2018 for 2017. How do I reflect this properly in turbo tax. Scottrade says their isn't a need for a 1099. 5498 will not be corrected.

Report the nondeductible traditional IRA contribution for 2017 on your 2017 tax return.

Report the Roth conversion performed in 2018 on your 2018 tax return.
