I applied for SS benefits and now getting ,my son because is under age also qualify for SS, do I need to repot his benefits?

I was told that I don't have to file his income benefits. I do file for my SS benefits.

No,  his income or SS does not go on your return.  If he only gets SS he does not have to file and nobody reports it.
