I am trying to enter information from a 1099-R which was a non-Quafying Annuity, I was the beneficiary...he died last year at age 72, RMD not required?
The Turbo Tax questions indicate their might be a penalty for not taking a RMD, but that's not supposed to apply?

Correct, there is not an RMD for a non-qualifying annuity. You can tell the program yes, it covered the RMD just to get through that section and make sure there is no tax penalty. It will carry to the tax return correctly.
