I am trying to delete an entry in line 4a and turbotax will not let me got back to that section to delete it. any suggestions?

To delete a Form 1099-R please follow these steps:

 

1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”  
2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
3. Click the "Trash icon" next to the Form 1099-R you want to delete.

 

or

 

1. Click "Wages & Income" (under Federal) on the left
2. Scroll down and click "Add/Edit" next to "IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan (1099-R)" 
3. Click the "Trash icon" next to the Form 1099-R you want to delete.
