I am still employed and have to take a RMD in 2017. I have 2 employer sponsored 403b plans and a privately owned IRA. I have a question about the RMD.

Does a distribution from one of the employer sponsored 403b plans satisfy my RMD?

No, a distribution from a 403(b) plan does not satisfy an IRA RMD (or vice versa).

IRA RMDs can be aggregated with other IRA RMDs and taken from your IRAs in any combination.  Separately, 403(b) RMDs can be aggregated with other 403(b) RMDs and taken from your 403(b) plans in any combination.

Is 2017 your first RMD?
