Your retirement pension is reported on Form 1099-R and the data entry is located in the Retirement Income section.

  1. Type 1099-R in the Search box- you must be logged in and IN your tax return
  2. Select Jump to 1099-R blue link - and follow the interview questions; be sure to enter the 1099-R inforamtion exactly as it appears on the actual form;

OR - you may enter it manually:

  1. Federal Taxes Select Wages and Income,
  2. Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
  3. Select IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099-R)
