I am on the Turbo Tax page for my 1099-R. Box 9a is blank on my 1099-R, Turbo Tax wont accept 0 in that box. Message says minimum value is 0.01. What should I do?

If you imported the Form 1099-R there is a possibility that there is a hidden character in box 9a.  Box 9a can be blank (empty) without issue on the TurboTax Form 1099-R.  So if you are receiving an error for a blank box 9a it would be better to delete the Form 1099-R and then re-enter manually to clear the error.

Leave box 9a blank on TurboTax's 1099-R form.
