I am not sure what to do with my 1099-B form from shareowner online. I received stocks through inheritance and it provides little to no info. Any help is appreciated

on the form it states "Box 5: Non-Covered Securities Transactions for which basis is not reported to the IRS and for which short-term or long-term determination is
unknown by EQ Shareowner Services. You must determine short-term or long-term based on your records and report on Form 8949, Part I with Box B" and I dont have a form 8949. I am very new to this so again any help is appreciated
checked, or on Form 8949, Part II, with Box E checked, as appropriate.

When asked when acquired enter “inherited “ which makes the asset long term. The cost basis is the value  at the time of the decedent’s death.
