I am not being permitted to deduct my traditional ira because MAGI is $128,873 but we are NOT covered by a retirement plan at work. How do I fix this?

my traditional ira contribution should be deductible

If you have W-2 forms entered in TurboTax, make sure Box 13 Retirement Plan is not checked.

@juantalissa

not having a retirement plan doesn't help you with the AGI limits for deducibility.

You either file Form 8606 or you ask the custodian to reverse that contribution.
