I am not able to get a social for my baby sitter from the last year how do i remove the information or can i still file without that info?

You would need the Social Security Number of your baby sitter to claim your Child Care Expenses.

 

Click on Tax Tools > Tools in the left-side menu, then choose 'Delete a Form' from the pop-up menu.

 

Look for Form 2441 in your list of forms and Delete it from your return.

 

 

The baby sitter can get a free EIN on the IRS website if he/she does not wish to give you an SSN.

Please note that he/she must claim this income in any case, even if you do not claim the credit.
