I am entering my social security benefit Info. I have a form 1099 for myself and also one for underage son. Do I need to add his in with mine?

No.  You do not enter the child's Social Security benefits reported on their SSA-1099 on your tax return.  If the child has no other income they do not report the SS benefits on a tax return.
