I am disabled in Florida. I took an early withdraw from my IRA. Do I get a penalty if I am permanently disabled

"Total and permanent disability" qualifies as one of the exceptions to the early distribution penalty.

Once you enter the distribution information from your 1099-R form into the TurboTax program, TurboTax will help you apply this exception.

Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information.

Are there exceptions to the early distribution penalty on an IRA?
