I am a widow who received my husband's Vanguard IRA Account in 2005. 2016 was the 1st year I had to take an RMD. Turbo Tax is asking if I inherited this account.

Is this considered inherited if I have had this IRA in my name since 2005 (12+ years ago)?

No.  If you had it place in you name it is no longer inherited - it is your IRA.  An inherited IRA would have a code "4" in box 7.
