I already gave a hard copy of a 1099 MISC form. I have the hard copy. Does Turbo Tax Self Employment (Online) allow me to fill in her information on the 1099 online

Yes.  You need to give a 1099Misc to anyone you paid $600 or more to for the year. But not to corporations or for merchandise. You send the IRS a copy of the 1099Misc with the transmittal summary form 1096. These are due to the person by Jan 31 and to the IRS by Jan 31 also (new IRS date this year).

You can fill it out for free. To prepare W2s or 1099Misc you need to use the Online Self Employed version or buy the Desktop CD/Download Home & Business program.  If you buy the Desktop Home & Business version you can prepare it 2 different ways.  Either Online using QEF Quick Employer Forms or directly on your computer from the H&B program.

We don't know the steps yet to fill out QEF online but here is the log in page.

What tax year did you issue the 1099 for ?   And do you now need to file the form 1096 ?

Or do you need to know how to enter the contractor expenses in the program ?

Its for 2017. No, I just need 1099 MISC. I wanted to know if I am able to fill in her information on Turbo Tax, as it is on the hard copy. I downloaded the form from IRS website, so I was hoping I could just type in her information myself on Turbo Tax. I have not bought the program yet, which is why I am asking.
