HSA contributionsWhen entering my and my employers HAS contributions from box 12b my federal refund goes down.I thought these contributions were tax exempt?

Employer contributions are treated as taxable income until you have completed the HSA interview questions. There should have been a note telling you about doing so. Look under medical deductions for that section.
