How to fill in SSA 1099 info when you have no SSA 1099

I am a Civil Service retiree but I do receive a small amount of Social Security in the form of payments to Medicare. I do not actually receive any Social Security in direct payments to me. The amount of Social Security I qualify for is almost enough , but not enough to fully cover my Medicare premiums. Medicare bills me for the balance at the end of the year. Social Security does not send me a 1099.

How should I answer the question of whether I receive  a Social Security benefit & fill in the SSA 1099  box questions when I don't have a 1099?

Your social security income may be taxable even if used it to pay Medicare premiums, so you should complete the social security section in TurboTax and enter your gross benefits. You will find that entry in the Retirement Plans and Social Security section of TurboTax, which is in the Wages and Income area.
