How do you delete a 1099-R started in error?

I started a new 1099 and then discovered it was already entered. I can't figure out how to delete it so I eliminate the error message for having nothing completed on the 1099.

Go to the Form 1099-R summary screen and click on the trash can symbol for the 1099-R you need to remove

To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button
