How do I get Turbo Tax to recognise and accecpt 457b catch-up contributions ?

Turbo Tax is refusing to accept 457(b) amounts over $18.5k, while the IRS allows taxpayers over 50 to deduct up to $37k for 2018. Turbo Tax is not allowing me to complete my eFile process because it wants the W-2 12b code G box to be $18.5k or less. How can I get Turbo Tax to comply with the IRS rules (ASAP) ?

Check your birth date.  Go to My Info and make sure the year is entered correctly.
