If you can't get past this page, I would try deleting your Form 1099-R and reenter it.
Here's how to delete and reenter your 1099-R:
- Go to to Form 1099-R , click the garbage can next to Form 1099-R to delete it.
- Then click on Add a Form 1099-R.
- Answer any questions until you get to the screen, Let's import your tax info. Here you can choose how you want to enter your 1099-R
- If your financial institution is a TurboTax 1099 partner, you can import your form.
- Select your institution from the list and enter your sign-in credentials, then select Get my form to start the import process
- If you prefer to upload your 1099-R or type in the info yourself, select Change how I enter my form. On the next screen, select your preferred entry method
- Continue answering the questions to enter or review the info from your 1099-R
You could also try the following:
- Log into turbo tax
- Go to federal>income and expenses
- Retirement plans and Social Security>show more
- Ira (401K), pension plan Withdrawals(1099R) Start
- When it asks Let's import your tax info indicate that you wish to change how you enter the form.
- Next question asks How do you want to add your 1099‑R? you can indicate that you will type it in yourself.
- Then it asks Who gave you a 1099-R? Here you would mention it's from a financial institution.
- Next screen will allow you to enter the 1099-R exactly the way it is listed on the form.
