How do I fill out the retirement exclusion worksheet for my state return?

Normally, TurboTax will fill out worksheets for you based on your input Online or in the Step-by-Step process in the CD/download software.

 

What state are you referring to, and why do you feel the need to fill out the worksheet yourself? 

 

Oh, and what version of TurboTax are you using and on what platform?

Need help to answer what amt should I input cause it's preventing me to e- file my state tax in Hawaii .  It's saying:  Retirement exclusion worksheet:  line 6, total exclusion still working on updates related to retirement distribution that qualify for covid relief.  

 

I don't know what amt to input, it's comparing from Form N-11 to the worksheet line 13

I have the same issue and I have a deadline to submit my tax return for other purposes.  Will there be an update soon?  Please help!

I am also in Hawaii and running into the same or similar issue with that form and there doesn't seem to be any way around it. The 6th line states to use sum of columns on line 5 but for me those are blank and I cannot leave line 6 blank or place a zero so now I'm stalled with no ability to e-file. Can someone at intuit please resolve this? @BillM223

I'm going to need your help to get more information. Please send me a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

***Online Product***

 

  1. Sign into your online account.
  2. Locate the Tax Tools on the left hand side of the screen.
  3. A Drop down will appear. Click on Share my file with agent.
  4. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created. Click on OK, the tax file gets sanitized and transmitted to us.
  5. Please provide the Token Number that was generated onto a response to this thread.

 

***Desktop Product***

 

  1. Click into your return.
  2. Click Online and select "Send Tax File to Agent".
  3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created. Click on OK, the tax file gets sanitized and transmitted to us.
  4. Please provide the Token Number that was generated onto a response to this thread.

When you post the token number, please add @ BillM223 (without the space in between, as you did before, so I will be notified. Thanks.

@BillM223 I am currently using the online form. A discussion with customer service came to the conclusion that there is a technical issue preventing correct inputs, but the issue was not resolved. Token 785881

When will the updates be completed, to file the Retirement Exclusion Worksheet for the State  Hawaii?  Will the updates be completed in time to file, to prevent late payment penalties? Is this issue occurring on all tax preparation  software programs, or is it just with Turbo Tax?

I have the same problem to prevent me from e-filing. Turbotax should fix the problem asap.
