TurboTax does not support tax year 2014

You can seek a local tax professional to assist you in either filing the 2014 tax return or amending a 2014 tax return that has been filed.

What kind of 1099? There are twenty types. 1099-MISC, 1099-R, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-OID and a fair number more. But what kind really doesn't matter. TurboTax only supports its software for the current tax filing year and three years back. So you flat out can not use Turbotax at all - even if you filed your original 2014 return with TurboTax.

If you are doing this with the expectation of getting additional refund money back, you can forget it. There is a three year statute of limitations on that. You have a maximum of three years from the date you filed the original return, to amend it for additional refund. An amended return for more than three years back will be processed by the IRS. But if it results in additonal refund to you, then you will *NOT* get it.
