To enter your qualified charitable distribution (QCD):
A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a distribution from an IRA made directly by the trustee of the IRA to a qualified charity. A QCD reduces the amount of your IRA distribution that you are required to recognize as income.
Because the QCD reduces your taxable income, you can’t also claim a charitable deduction for these same donations, if you itemize, since this would be double-dipping.
I am having trouble entering my Qualified Charitable Distribution. Are QCD still eligible for 2022 federal tax filing? I do not have enough deductions to Itemize, am I still eligible to deduct QCD from my IRA distributions. If I can how do I do it? HELP
Yes, QCD is still eligible for 2022 Federal Tax filing and you do not have to itemize deductions in order to make a QCD.
As listed by HelenC12, to enter your QCD Qualified Charitable Distribution:

So if my father donates to directly to his church from his funds received from his IRA is this amount considered a QCD?
The Internal Revenue Code allows a person who is at least 70½ years old to donate to a charitable organization (including churches) directly from their retirement account. It is known as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD).
I tried what was suggested in the solution. I got to my 1099-r for my inherited ira. I edited the form but no questions came up just the form with no indication of where I would enter my qualified charitable distribution .
As JohnB5677 mentioned, to qualify: You must be 70 1/2 or older to make a QCD. A QCD can be made when you reach the age of 70 1/2, even if you're not subject to RMDs until the age of 72 or 73. The questions will only show up in TurboTax if you qualify.
