How do I edit my 1099-R information on my tax refund?

You can go directly to Form 1099R by following these steps:

1. Sign into your account and select your current return

2. Select TaxTools on the bottom left and then select Tools (see attached TaxTools)

3. Select Topic Search (see attached Topic Search)

4. Search for 1099R and select Go

 

 

I need to change Distribution 7

If you have not filed, to edit, here are the steps:

 

In TurboTax online,

1. Sign in to your account and select Pick up where you left off
2. From the upper right menu, select Search and type in 1099r and Enter
3. Select the Jump to 1099r
4. Follow prompts to edit

This amount will show on line 4 or 5 of your Form 1040 depending if it's IRA related.
