An IRA contribution is ported as a deduction.

1. Log into TurboTax.
2. Under Federal
3. Go to Deductions & Credits
4. From the drop down select Retirement and Investments   IRAs, investment interest expenses
5. From the drop down select Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
6. Follow the interview and DELETE the unwanted entry.

An IRA distribution is posted on a 1099-R

1095-R in TurboTax, you can follow these steps

1. Select Tax Tools
2. On the drop-down select Tools
3. There will be 4 green boxes
4. Select Topics Search
5. Type 1095-R
6. Follow the interview
7. Delete the record as needed.
