How do I change my state tax payment from automatic withdrawal to a check since I will mail in my return?

Yes, you can change your payment method in the File section of TurboTax. 

1. Sign in to your account and open your return. If it has been rejected for e-file, click Fix my return to open it.
2. Select File on the left side.
3. When you get to Here are your e-filing options, select Change.
4. On the next screen select File by mail.
5. Continue until you get to How do you want to pay your state taxes?
6. Select I will mail a check and continue through the remaining screens to print the return. If a payment voucher is required in your state, there will be one in the print packet. If you don't see the voucher, check the state instruction sheet for the address.
