How do I answer the question "What kind of retirement income do you have from Pennsylvania?" Box 7 has code 4

Hello, I received a TSP distribution in 2024 from the death of an older sibling.  I am working on the PA state taxes and TurboTax is asking “What kind of retirement income do you have from Pennsylvania?”. Box 7 of my 1099-R has code 4.  How do I answer this question in TurboTax?  This is my first time receiving a distribution and I am not at retirement age (under 59 1/2 still), but many websites say that TSP distributions are not taxable in PA.  Is this also true?

Thank you for your help with this.

You are correct. TSP Distributions are not taxable in Pennsylvania. Form 1099-R Box 7 Code 4 indicates this distribution was due to the death of the account holder. This means you are reporting an inherited retirement distribution.
