How do I answer the question "Any Periodic Payments?" in regards to my Military Retirement Pay?

For the amount in box 1 of this 1099-R you are entering - -  if you received a monthly pension amount throughout the year, answer YES.   If this was a one-time distribution from your retirement account, answer NO.
