How can I stop TT from splitting the amounts reported on my 1099-Rs between IRA distributions and Pensions, when we don't have any pensions?
The amount TT calculates as "Pensions and annuities" does not correspond to any subtotal of the amounts on the 1099-Rs.

It goes by the little IRA box between boxed 7&8 on the 1099R. If the IRA box is checked it goes to 1040 line 4, otherwise to line 5. Check your 1099Rs. If it's checked, you need to check the box on the screen.
