How can I determine the taxable amount of my social security benefits?

Where do I put the taxable amount of my social security benefits in Turbo Tax?

You don't have to figure the taxable portion of Social Security--Turbo Tax figures that for you based on the rest of your income.

Put your ENTIRE Social Security, from your 1099-SSA, here:

1.  Click Federal on the left-hand side menu.

2.  Click Income across the top.

3.  Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click Show more.

4.  Click Start or Revisit by Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099).
