How accurate can Taxcaster be? It does not allow you to enter your Fed tax with-held on Social Security nor does it deal with your Medicare costs.

With social security, you have your gross, your fed tax with-held, your Part B, and Part D.  Taxcaster never asks you for those - any of them other then your actual ssa gross.  Even if this was correct, how accurate is taxcaster if you answer all applicable questions?

You just need to be a bit flexible, you can go to the bottom of the screen and

1)...a)..hit "Edit" in the "Wages & Withholdings" box to enter your withholding.....doesn't matter if it was on "wages" or not....since you entered your SS gross on another page, you would enter zero for wages if you go this route.
OR
1..b)...hit the "Edit" in the "Credits, Income & Deductions" box then hit the "Other Tax Payments box" and enter your Federal withholding as an estimated tax  (can also do State withholding as an estimated tax instead...if needed)…..and that selection prompts the Estimated tax payments questions during that interview.   (When the Estimated tax payments Questions occur depends on what other boxes you selected there too..)

2)…..hit the "Edit" in the "Credits, Income & Deductions" box.  Then from there you select the box for "Other Deductions" and then "Continue", and that selection prompts the Medical deductions questions during that interview.  Part B & D payments are just part of all your medical deduction entries (When the Medical payments Questions occur depends on what other boxes you selected there too.).
