Hi. I have 2 1099-INT forms. For both, boxes 15 and 16 are complete. However box 17 (state tax withheld) is blank. Turbotax states 17 should have a value. Help?

These forms are due to being one of the beneficiaries per my aunt's passing in 2023. Unsure what to do.

If there were no state taxes withheld for your interest income, try leaving boxes 15 and 16 blank or enter a zero for box 17. TurboTax has a rule that if one of those three boxes has a value, then all of them need something filled in.
