Hello. I received a personal injury settlement from a lawsuit , I spoke with my lawyers and they do not have a 1099 to give me. Is this money taxable ? Do I include on my returns even tho I don’t

Depending on the nature of this payment, it may be taxable.  This IRS Publication 4345 on Settlements Taxability has the specifics on what portion of a lawsuit settlement you must include as taxable income.  Use it as a guide to ask your lawyers what the money paid to you was for.
