Getting message "Retirement Income Area Will Be Ready Soon". Tried installing updates. When will this area be ready to input 1099-R's?

It's been ready for more than a month  !

 

Run the software updates within your tax program!

IF that doesn't work, download and install  the "Manual Update"  (it can take 15 min or more once you start the actual update...so start it and go away for awhile.)

 

Then restart your program again and run the internal software update again (because the manual update doesn't update the state programs).    Use the Edge browser to download the file...don't use Chrome.

Doing the manual update fixed the problem.
