Georgia is listing "State Income Tax Withheld" on the 1099-G as box 10, not box 11. Should I enter this amount in box 11 anyway?

First, thank you for the redacted form. It makes diagnosis so much easier (seriously).

Second, for box 10a, use GA; for box 10b, use the STA-ID value referenced above; and for box 11, use the amount that the letter reported for box 10 (that was a typo on their part).

You mean line 10a has text in it, saying "State Income Tax Withheld"? Or is there a dollar amount (as opposed to a state identification ID)?

Is there an amount in box 11? Does it look like you had any withholding at all?

If you did not have any state withholding, then you should blank out all the boxes: 10a, 10b, and 11, so that TurboTax will let you continue.

It actually has no boxes at all - just line items. And line item [box 10] says it’s “State Income Tax Withheld” and there is an amount next to it.
