“form 8915F-T : you indicated there were retirement distributions received in 2022 related to a disaster…” I thought this meant care disbursements but those are on 1098-T

How do I go in and edit this? I was confused and thought the disaster distributions needed to be added but they were distributed by my college and are included in 1098-T. It is not allowing me to file until it is fixed and I have tried to but the error will not go away

It sounds like you need to delete the form.

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. Select "Tax Tools" and then "Tools" in the left menu.
  3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, select "Delete a form".
  4. Select "Delete" next to "Form 8915-F" and "Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Distr".
