Forgot to input 6000 in "How much of the IRA contribution you paid from Jan 1 2021 through April 15 2021". Does this matter?

I have input a standard IRA deduction of $6000 in Turbo Tax. In the step-by-step questions, TT asks "How much of this contribution you made from Jan 1 2021 through April 15 2021". I forgot to input 6000 in that box.  I already transmitted my Return.  There is no change in my Fed or State tax if I input 6000 in that box.  Does this matter or do I need to amend my return?

No, given that you've seen that the end result (tax liability therefore tax "due" or refund "due") is no different, you do not need to amend your return just to specify that it was contributed during the first part of 2021. This would only be important if you had multiple other types of IRA contributions.
