Early Withdrawal penalty on IRA? already disabled and on SSDI can I check the exception for permanently disabled?

Yes, you can claim the exception to the IRA early distribution penalty since you are disabled.  You should see a list of possible exceptions in the follow-up screens after you have entered your Form 1099-R.  Enter the amount of your distribution in the box for the disable exception and your return will not include the 10% early distribution penalty.
